Swami Satyananda Saraswati, a revered spiritual teacher and scholar of ancient Indian wisdom, was born in 1923 in Almora, India, and initiated into the monastic order of Dashnami Sannyasins by Swami Sivananda Saraswati in 1947. After years of rigorous training and deep meditation, he founded the Bihar School of Yoga in 1963, where he dedicated his life to disseminating the profound teachings of Tantra, Yoga, and Vedanta to seekers worldwide. His writings bridge the esoteric knowledge of the scriptures with practical guidance for modern practitioners, emphasizing holistic well-being and self-realization.
