Collection of Information
Textbook Nova collects several types of information from and about users of the Website, including information: (i) by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, email address, telephone number or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (“personal information” or “personally identifiable information”); (ii) that is about you but does not individually identify you; and (iv) about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Website and usage details. Textbook Nova collects this information directly from you when you provide it to Textbook Nova and automatically as you navigate through the Website.

Information Textbook Nova Collects Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies. As you navigate through and interact with the Website, Textbook Nova may use automatic data collection technologies (such as cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies) or third parties (such as Textbook Nova’s business partners) to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including: (i) details of your visits to the Website, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website; and (ii) information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system and browser type. This information helps Textbook Nova better understand how you use the Website.
Visitor IP addresses are collected for the use of tracking how they use the service and how it could be improved. IP addresses are also used to monitor and audit the behavior of the user on the website in order to prevent abuse and inhibit bad actors from attacking the service.
Third-party data processors
This website uses MailChimp to collect and process email addresses from users who have opted in to receive our newsletter in email. If you wish to no longer receive these emails and have your data removed from the service you can use the 'Unsubscribe' button at the bottom of the email, or send an email to 'firstname.lastname@example.org' with your request.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on visitors' computers, to help the website operators analyze how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the visitors' use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
Google will retain user data for 26 months after it is collected, and no personally identifying information is stored in the data layer.

Use of Information
If you have supplied your email address through the Website, Textbook Nova may occasionally send you emails to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback or just keep you up-to-date with what’s going on with Textbook Nova and its services. If you send Textbook Nova a request (for example, via a support email or one of Textbook Nova’s feedback mechanisms), Textbook Nova reserves the right to publish it in order to help Textbook Nova clarify or respond to your request or to help Textbook Nova support other users.
Textbook Nova may collect statistics about the behavior of users of the Website and may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Textbook Nova does not disclose personally identifying information other than as described herein. Textbook Nova reserves the right to use collected information to place a user onto a temporary black list if Textbook Nova determines that such user is abusing the Website. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You can review and change your personal information by logging into the Website and visiting your account profile page. You may also send Textbook Nova an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to Textbook Nova. Textbook Nova cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. Textbook Nova may not accommodate a request to change information if Textbook Nova believes the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
Children Online Privacy Protection Act
The Website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the Website. Textbook Nova does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on the Website or on or through any of its features, register on the Website, make any purchases through the Website, use any of the interactive or public comment features of the Website or provide any information about yourself to Textbook Nova, including your name, postal address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use.
