The Xi'an Jiaotong University Library, a venerable institution with roots tracing back to the early 20th century, serves as the intellectual heart of one of China's premier engineering universities. Established in 1896 as part of the Nanyang Public College, it has evolved into a comprehensive repository housing over 5 million volumes, including rare ancient texts, modern scientific journals, and digital archives that support cutting-edge research in engineering, medicine, and humanities.
