About the Author
Vince Flynn was a master of the political thriller genre, renowned for his gripping narratives that blend high-stakes espionage, intricate plots, and unyielding protagonists. Born in 1966 in St. Paul, Minnesota, Flynn initially pursued a career in sports broadcasting before turning to writing full-time after a battle with cancer inspired him to chase his passion. His breakout success came with the creation of the iconic Mitch Rapp series, which catapulted him to bestseller status and earned him a devoted global readership. Flynn's stories often draw from real-world geopolitical tensions, delivering pulse-pounding action and sharp insights into the shadowy world of counterterrorism. Tragically passing away in 2013, his legacy endures through his compelling body of work, including the acclaimed Kill Shot: An American Assassin Thriller, which exemplifies his talent for suspenseful storytelling.
