Victor Ostrovsky

About the Author

Victor Ostrovsky is a former Mossad case officer whose groundbreaking exposés have shed light on the secretive world of Israeli intelligence. Born in Canada to Israeli parents, he joined the Mossad in 1984, serving in operational roles that took him across the globe. Disillusioned by the agency's covert operations and ethical lapses, Ostrovsky left in 1986 and turned to writing to reveal the inner workings of one of the world's most elite spy networks. His debut book, By Way Of Deception: The Making And Unmaking Of A Mossad Officer, became an international bestseller, sparking controversy and legal battles with the Israeli government, which attempted to suppress its publication. Despite threats to his safety, Ostrovsky's courageous accounts continue to inform debates on intelligence ethics and global security.
