Thrangu Rinpoche
About the Author
Thrangu Rinpoche, a revered Tibetan Buddhist master and scholar, has dedicated his life to the preservation and dissemination of the profound teachings of the Buddha, drawing from his deep-rooted lineage in the Karma Kagyu tradition. Born in 1933 in Kham, Tibet, he escaped to India in 1959 and has since established numerous monasteries, retreat centers, and educational institutions worldwide, including the Thrangu Tashi Choling in Nepal and centers in North America and Europe. As a principal teacher to the Karmapa, he has authored and translated numerous works on Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and tantric practices, guiding countless students toward enlightenment. His teachings emphasize compassion, wisdom, and the innate Buddha nature inherent in all beings, making complex doctrines accessible to contemporary audiences seeking spiritual depth.
