Taeeun Yoo is an award-winning author and illustrator whose enchanting books celebrate the joys of imagination, movement, and cultural discovery for young readers. Born in Korea and now based in New York City, she draws inspiration from her multicultural background to create vibrant, heartfelt stories that bridge worlds and spark creativity. With a background in fine arts from the School of Visual Arts, Yoo's work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation. Her debut picture book, You Are a Lion!: And Other Fun Yoga Poses, introduces children to yoga through playful animal-themed poses, blending physical activity with gentle lessons on mindfulness and self-expression.
