About the Author
Steven Adler, the legendary drummer of Guns N' Roses, has long been a symbol of the raw energy and unbridled spirit of rock 'n' roll. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Adler's journey into music began in his youth, leading him to co-found one of the most iconic bands of the late 20th century. His memoir, My Appetite for Destruction: Sex & Drugs & Guns N' Roses, offers an unflinching look into the highs and lows of fame, addiction, and the chaotic world of 1980s Hollywood rock stardom. Through his candid storytelling, Adler reveals the personal toll of excess while celebrating the creative fire that fueled hits like 'Sweet Child o' Mine' and 'Welcome to the Jungle.' Now sober and reflective, he continues to inspire musicians and fans with his resilience and passion for the drums.
