About the Author

Sofronii, a revered Orthodox Christian monk and spiritual writer, was born in Bulgaria and later embraced monastic life on Mount Athos, where he immersed himself in the profound traditions of hesychasm and contemplative prayer. Under the guidance of his elder, St. Silouan the Athonite, he developed a deep understanding of the inner struggle for divine union, which became the cornerstone of his literary output.
