San Luis Maria De Montfort

About the Author

Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort (1673-1716) was a French Roman Catholic priest and saint renowned for his profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and his influential writings on Christian spirituality. Born in Montfort-la-Canne, he dedicated his life to preaching, founding religious congregations, and promoting Marian consecration as a path to deeper union with Christ. His works emphasize humility, total abandonment to God, and the transformative power of Mary's intercession, drawing from Scripture and the lives of the saints. Despite facing opposition during his lifetime, Montfort's teachings have inspired countless believers, including popes and mystics, and continue to guide the faithful toward authentic holiness and missionary zeal in the modern world.
