About the Author

Sam Brower is an acclaimed investigative journalist and former private investigator whose groundbreaking work has exposed the dark underbelly of religious extremism in America. With over two decades of experience delving into high-stakes cases, Brower spent seven years infiltrating and documenting the secretive world of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS) under the leadership of the notorious Warren Jeffs. His meticulous research, driven by a commitment to justice for abuse victims, culminated in the bestselling exposé Prophet's Prey, which not only chronicled the polygamous sect's abuses but also contributed to Jeffs' eventual arrest and conviction. Brower's writing bridges the gap between true crime and social commentary, offering readers a riveting glimpse into the perils of unchecked power within isolated communities. Today, he continues to advocate for the vulnerable through his writing and public speaking.
