About the Author
Robert West is a celebrated children's author whose imaginative tales have captivated young readers for over two decades, blending heart-pounding adventure with whimsical humor to create worlds where ordinary kids become extraordinary heroes. Born in the bustling heart of Chicago, West drew inspiration from his own childhood escapades in neighborhood parks and back alleys, channeling them into stories that encourage bravery and friendship. His breakthrough came with the beloved Star-Fighters of Murphy Street series, where pint-sized protagonists battle bizarre cosmic foes in suburban settings. A former schoolteacher, West infuses his narratives with educational undertones, teaching resilience and creativity without ever feeling didactic. When not writing, he volunteers at local libraries, inspiring the next generation of storytellers to dream big and reach for the stars.
