About the Author
Richard Stearns is a visionary leader and author whose work bridges faith, compassion, and global justice. With a background in business and humanitarian efforts, he served as the president of World Vision U.S. for over a decade, traveling to more than 50 countries to witness and address the plight of the world's poorest communities. In his acclaimed book, The Hole in Our Gospel: What Does God Expect of Us?, Stearns challenges readers to confront the disconnect between personal faith and active social responsibility, drawing on biblical principles and real-world stories to inspire transformative action. A graduate of Cornell University and Wharton School, he continues to advocate for the marginalized, urging believers to live out the full gospel through justice and mercy.
