Reicha Anton, a visionary composer of the late Classical and early Romantic eras, was born in Prague in 1770 and became a pivotal figure in the evolution of chamber music and wind instrument repertoire. Renowned for his innovative approach to orchestration, Reicha pushed the boundaries of traditional forms, emphasizing the expressive potential of wind ensembles. After studying under notable mentors and serving as a flutist in the Paris Opéra orchestra, he settled in Paris, where he taught influential composers like Franz Liszt and Hector Berlioz at the Paris Conservatoire.
