In her debut book, East Winds: A Global Quest to Reckon with Marriage, Rueckert embarks on a year-long journey across continents to confront the universal and evolving facets of commitment, blending memoir, cultural anthropology, and introspective storytelling. A former editor at international publications, she holds an MFA in creative writing and continues to contribute essays on global women's issues. Rueckert resides in Utah with her husband, where she teaches writing and advocates for cross-cultural understanding.
