Ra Krause

About the Author

Ra Krause is an intrepid explorer and storyteller whose journeys through ancient lands inspire readers to rediscover the world's hidden paths. Born with a wanderlust that propelled her from the familiar shores of home to the rugged trails of distant continents, Krause has dedicated her life to chronicling the intersections of history, culture, and personal transformation. Her debut book, Heathen Pilgrim: Walk Across Turkey, captures the essence of a solitary trek spanning over a thousand miles, blending vivid descriptions of Anatolian landscapes with introspective reflections on faith, endurance, and human connection. Drawing from her background in anthropology and a passion for sustainable travel, Krause's writing bridges the gap between adventure memoir and cultural immersion, inviting audiences to step beyond their comfort zones and embrace the unknown.
