About the Author
Oleksa Storozhenko was a Ukrainian writer whose work draws on folklore, legend, and the imaginative traditions of Eastern Europe. His storytelling brings together vivid cultural detail, supernatural elements, and an attentive ear for the rhythms of oral narrative. Storozhenko’s writing remains notable for its blend of the fantastic and the recognizably human, presenting wonder, humor, and mystery within richly rooted Ukrainian settings. For readers exploring Ukrainian literary fantasy and folklore-inspired fiction, his work offers an engaging connection between traditional storytelling and nineteenth-century prose. He is represented here by Język Babilonu. Antologia ukraińskiej fantastyki.
