Oasis

About the Author

Oasis, the iconic British rock band formed in 1991 by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, revolutionized the music scene with their anthemic sound and unapologetic attitude, drawing from the raw energy of the Beatles and the swagger of punk. Emerging from Manchester's working-class roots, they captured the zeitgeist of 1990s Britpop, blending blistering guitars, soaring melodies, and lyrics that spoke to youthful rebellion and camaraderie. Their debut album Definitely Maybe set sales records, but it was their sophomore effort that cemented their legend, delivering timeless tracks that defined a generation. Despite internal conflicts leading to their 2009 split, Oasis's influence endures, inspiring countless artists and fans worldwide with their defiant spirit and unforgettable live performances.
