Myvillages

About the Author

Myvillages is a dynamic artist collective founded in 2003, dedicated to exploring the intersections of rural life, art, and contemporary culture. Comprising members from diverse villages across Europe and beyond, the group fosters collaborative projects that highlight the vitality of countryside communities in an increasingly urbanized world. Through residencies, publications, and exhibitions, Myvillages challenges stereotypes of rural isolation, emphasizing sustainable practices, local knowledge, and artistic innovation. Their work bridges the gap between traditional agrarian experiences and modern discourse, inviting urban audiences to reconsider the countryside's relevance. With a focus on collective authorship, Myvillages continues to cultivate dialogues that empower rural voices on global stages.
