Muhammand Taqi-Ud-Din Al-Hilali was a distinguished Islamic scholar, translator, and educator whose life's work bridged the profound wisdom of Islamic texts with contemporary audiences worldwide. Born in Al-Qasr Al-Kabir, Morocco, in 1899, he pursued advanced studies in Islamic sciences at the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo and later in India, where he immersed himself in Arabic linguistics, fiqh, and tafsir. Al-Hilali's most enduring contribution is his meticulous English translation of the Quran, undertaken in collaboration with Muhammad Muhsin Khan, which emphasizes clarity, fidelity to the original Arabic, and insightful commentary to aid non-Arabic speakers in grasping the divine message.
