About the Author

Master Fard Muhammad, revered as the founder of the Nation of Islam, emerged in the early 20th century as a pivotal figure in African American spiritual and social awakening. Born in Mecca and possessing profound esoteric knowledge, he dedicated his mission to uplifting the so-called Negro in America, whom he identified as the original people of the earth, lost through centuries of enslavement and oppression. Through his teachings, Master Fard Muhammad imparted divine wisdom aimed at restoring self-awareness, dignity, and empowerment to the Black nation. His brief yet transformative presence in Detroit during the 1930s laid the groundwork for a movement that continues to influence millions, emphasizing self-reliance, moral discipline, and the rejection of white supremacy.
