Marley Dias

About the Author

Marley Dias is a dynamic young activist, author, and changemaker who has inspired a global movement for diversity in literature and social justice. At just ten years old, she launched the #1000BlackGirlBooks campaign, collecting thousands of books featuring Black girls as protagonists to empower young readers and address representation gaps in children's literature. Her debut book, 'Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You!', shares practical advice on activism, goal-setting, and turning passions into action, drawing from her own experiences as a trailblazing kid advocate. Now in her teens, Marley continues to speak at TED events, collaborate with organizations like Malala Fund, and advocate for education equity, proving that age is no barrier to making a profound impact on the world.
