Mark "Marty" Rathbun

About the Author

Mark 'Marty' Rathbun is a former high-ranking executive in the Church of Scientology who rose through the ranks to become one of its most trusted insiders before dramatically breaking away in the early 2000s. With decades of experience at the heart of the organization, Rathbun offers a rare, unfiltered perspective on its inner workings, leadership dynamics, and controversial practices. His writing draws from personal encounters with Scientology's founder L. Ron Hubbard and its controversial leader David Miscavige, providing readers with gripping accounts of loyalty, dissent, and redemption. Now an independent consultant and speaker on cult dynamics and personal freedom, Rathbun's insights continue to challenge narratives and empower those seeking truth beyond institutional control.
