About the Author
Mario Facione is an Italian-American author whose life story embodies the profound transformations possible through faith and resilience. Born into the shadowy underbelly of organized crime in New York City, Facione navigated a world of danger and moral ambiguity from a young age, rising through the ranks of the mafia while grappling with inner turmoil. A dramatic encounter with the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led to his complete conversion, prompting him to leave behind his criminal past for a life of spiritual devotion and family. In his memoir 'Mafia to Mormon: My Conversion Story,' Facione candidly recounts this extraordinary journey, offering readers inspiration on redemption, forgiveness, and the power of divine intervention. Today, he resides in Utah, where he advocates for personal growth and shares his testimony through writing and speaking engagements.
