Liu Yiming

Liu Yiming (1734–1821) was a distinguished Qing dynasty scholar, poet, and Daoist practitioner renowned for his profound contributions to internal alchemy and Taoist philosophy. Born in what is now Shandong Province, he immersed himself in the study of classical texts and esoteric traditions from a young age, eventually attaining mastery in the art of neidan, or internal cultivation. As a key figure in the Dragon Gate lineage of Quanzhen Daoism, Liu Yiming authored numerous treatises that demystify the transformative processes of the Tao, blending rigorous scholarship with spiritual insight. His works continue to guide modern seekers in harmonizing body, mind, and cosmos, offering timeless wisdom on achieving enlightenment through disciplined self-refinement.
