About the Author

Linda McFarland is a seasoned writer and former executive assistant whose career in Silicon Valley's high-stakes tech world inspired her to pen candid, often humorous accounts of the absurdities behind the corporate curtain. With over two decades of experience supporting CEOs through mergers, scandals, and everyday chaos, she brings an insider's wit and unflinching honesty to her storytelling. McFarland's debut book, 'Sitting on a File Cabinet, Naked, With a Gun: True Stories of Silicon Valley CEO Assistants,' captures the wild, unfiltered realities of life in the executive suite, blending sharp satire with heartfelt reflections on power, loyalty, and survival in the cutthroat world of innovation. Now based in the Bay Area, she continues to advocate for the unsung heroes of the business world through her writing and speaking engagements.
