About the Author

The Seto Nyan Umi Production Committee is a creative collective dedicated to exploring the serene and whimsical world of Japan's Seto Inland Sea through the lens of its feline inhabitants. Formed by a group of passionate storytellers, artists, and filmmakers, the committee draws inspiration from the region's tranquil islands, gentle waves, and laid-back lifestyle, often personified by curious cats that roam freely. Their work blends heartfelt narratives with visual storytelling to capture the essence of relaxed living, encouraging readers and viewers to embrace a 'nyan'—or cat-like—approach to life, free from the rush of modern existence. Through enchanting tales and multimedia experiences, they invite audiences to discover the simple joys hidden in everyday adventures along the sea's edge.
