About the Author
Kristi Noem is a prominent American politician, author, and rancher serving as the Governor of South Dakota since 2019. Born and raised in the heartland, she embodies the values of hard work, resilience, and conservative principles that define rural America. With a background in farming and business, Noem has risen through the ranks of public service, including terms in the South Dakota House of Representatives and the U.S. Congress, where she championed issues like economic freedom, Second Amendment rights, and limited government. Her writing draws from personal experiences to offer candid insights into politics and life lessons. In 'No Going Back: The Truth on What's Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward,' she critiques the political establishment and proposes pathways for national renewal. Similarly, 'Not My First Rodeo: Lessons from the Heartland' shares heartfelt stories from her life on the ranch, emphasizing family, faith, and community as guiding forces in an increasingly complex world.
