His translations and original works have been featured in prestigious journals and anthologies, earning him recognition for their lyrical precision and emotional depth. Koh's latest project, The Pillow Book: English-Japanese Illustrated Edition マクラノソウシ（日本語・英語イラスト入り版）, reimagines the classical Japanese text for contemporary readers, blending historical reverence with modern illustration to illuminate timeless reflections on court life and human observation. A recipient of fellowships from the National Arts Council of Singapore and the Vermont Studio Center, Koh continues to enrich the literary landscape through his innovative approach to cross-cultural storytelling.
