Born in Australia, he honed his craft through a deep fascination with societal collapse and human resilience, drawing from real-world observations to craft tales that resonate with urgency and grit. His collaboration with director George Miller on the iconic Mad Max series marked a pivotal moment in his career, blending high-octane action with philosophical undertones about survival in a ravaged world.
