About the Author

Iai McIntyre is a dedicated scholar and writer whose passion for American history and cultural narratives shines through in his meticulous explorations of marginalized voices. With a background in archival research and folklore studies, McIntyre has devoted years to uncovering the rich tapestry of hobo life during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, blending historical analysis with evocative storytelling to bring forgotten stories to life. His work delves into the transient world of itinerant workers, capturing their resilience, humor, and hardships through songs and literature that echo the rhythms of the rails. McIntyre's writing not only preserves these cultural artifacts but also invites readers to reflect on themes of freedom, survival, and the American dream in an era of profound social change.
