Born in Afghanistan, he fled the Taliban at age twelve, embarking on a perilous journey across half the world that took him through mountains, deserts, and seas before reaching safety in the United Kingdom. Now a prominent voice for refugees, Gulwali holds degrees from the University of Bath and the University of Manchester, and he works tirelessly to support displaced people through his organization, DeliverDreams. His writing draws from personal experience to illuminate the human cost of conflict and migration, inspiring readers with tales of survival and the unyielding pursuit of a better life.
