About the Author

Gabriel Simeone is a visionary thinker and advocate for digital sovereignty, exploring the intersections of technology, urban exclusion, and cultural autonomy in an increasingly connected world. With a background in digital humanities and social activism, he challenges the dominant narratives of technological progress by highlighting how innovation can either perpetuate inequalities or foster inclusive spaces. In his seminal work, Tecnologia Sem-Teto: Por territórios digitais soberanos, Simeone delves into the creation of sovereign digital territories that empower marginalized communities, drawing from real-world case studies and theoretical frameworks to propose radical alternatives to corporate-dominated tech landscapes. His writing bridges academia and activism, inspiring readers to reimagine technology as a tool for social justice rather than control.
