About the Author

Evan Winter is a South African author whose gripping tales of epic fantasy draw deeply from his experiences growing up in a post-apartheid society, blending raw emotion with high-stakes adventure. A former insurance broker turned full-time writer, Winter crafts worlds where underdogs rise against impossible odds, exploring themes of vengeance, loyalty, and the fire within. His debut novel, The Rage of Dragons (The Burning Book 1), catapulted him to international acclaim, praised for its relentless pacing and richly developed characters inspired by African mythology and history.
