About the Author
Ellen Stimson is a Vermont-based author whose writing captures the chaotic beauty of rural life with humor and heart. Originally from the Midwest, she traded urban conveniences for the rolling hills of the Green Mountains, embarking on a dream of homesteading that included raising children, chickens, sheep, and managing a historic country store. Her experiences, marked by one delightful calamity after another, inspired her to chronicle the joys and mishaps of this unconventional lifestyle. Stimson's prose blends sharp wit with warm introspection, offering readers an honest glimpse into the rewards and realities of pursuing an off-the-grid existence. A passionate advocate for sustainable living and community, she continues to draw from her adventures to entertain and inspire audiences nationwide.
