Elaine Neil Orr is an acclaimed author whose evocative storytelling draws deeply from her Southern roots and experiences abroad. Born in the American South, she spent much of her childhood in Nigeria, where her father served as a missionary doctor, shaping her profound understanding of cultural intersections and human resilience.
