Dr. Haralan Popov

About the Author

Dr. Haralan Popov was a Bulgarian pastor, evangelist, and author whose life exemplified unwavering faith amid severe persecution under communist rule. Born in the early 20th century, he founded an underground church network that spread the Gospel across Eastern Europe, leading to his arrest and brutal imprisonment in 1948. For thirteen years, he endured torture, solitary confinement, and forced labor in labor camps, yet emerged with a testimony of divine grace and resilience. After his release in 1961, Popov immigrated to the United States, where he continued his ministry through preaching, writing, and establishing the International Christian Fellowship. His writings, drawn from personal experiences, inspire believers worldwide to stand firm in their convictions, highlighting the transformative power of faith in the face of adversity.
