About the Author

Dr. Geoffrey Hicks is a distinguished historian and satirist whose sharp wit and meticulous research have illuminated the absurdities of political folly throughout British history. With a PhD in Modern History from Oxford University, he has spent over two decades dissecting the blunders and eccentricities of those who have shaped—or more often, mishandled—the nation's governance. Hicks' work blends rigorous scholarship with irreverent humor, offering readers a cathartic laugh at the expense of power's most inept wielders. His debut book, 'Crap MPs: A Darkly Humorous Countdown of the Worst Politicians in British History,' quickly became a cult favorite among history buffs and political cynics alike, praised for its biting commentary and entertaining revelations.
