About the Author
Don Richardson is a renowned missionary, linguist, and author whose life experiences in remote Papua New Guinea profoundly shaped his literary contributions to Christian literature. Born in Canada, Richardson served as a missionary among the Sawi people, a headhunting tribe whose cultural practices of treachery and cannibalism challenged his faith until he discovered a powerful redemptive analogy in their traditions that mirrored the gospel story. This transformative encounter inspired his seminal work, Peace Child, which vividly recounts his journey of cultural immersion, divine intervention, and the universal quest for peace through Christ. With a career spanning decades, Richardson has influenced countless readers by blending anthropological insight with evangelical passion, emphasizing God's redemptive work across diverse cultures. His writings continue to bridge worlds, offering hope and understanding in an interconnected age.
