About the Author

David E. Navarro is a poet whose work draws inspiration from the subtle rhythms of nature and the quiet profundities of everyday observation. With a background in environmental studies and a lifelong passion for Japanese literary forms, Navarro crafts verses that capture fleeting moments with precision and grace. His debut collection, A Tree Frog's Eyes: Haiku, explores the intricate beauty of amphibian life through minimalist haiku, blending scientific curiosity with poetic insight to reveal the interconnectedness of all living things. Navarro's writing invites readers to pause and perceive the world anew, finding poetry in the overlooked details of the natural landscape. Residing in the Pacific Northwest, he continues to wander forests and wetlands, notebook in hand, translating the whispers of the wild into words that resonate deeply.
