Dane Rudhyar (1895-1985) was a pioneering astrologer, philosopher, and author whose work bridged Eastern and Western spiritual traditions with modern psychology. Born Daniel Chennevière in Paris, he adopted the name Rudhyar after immigrating to the United States in 1916, where he immersed himself in music, painting, and the emerging field of humanistic astrology.
