As a professor at Princeton University, Okeke-Agulu explores themes of identity, resistance, and cultural hybridity through incisive scholarship and curatorial projects. His acclaimed book 'Phyllis Galembo: Maske' delves into the photographer's evocative portraits of masquerade traditions across Africa and the Americas, illuminating the performative power of masks in ritual and social contexts.
