About the Author
Brigid Keenan is a seasoned writer whose work draws on a lifetime of travel, cultural immersion, and personal reinvention. Beginning her career amid the fading grandeur of the Raj, she later navigated the fast-paced world of fashion journalism and publishing. Her memoir captures the humor, resilience, and unexpected turns that have defined her path from colonial India to the heart of the rag trade. With a keen eye for detail and a warm, self-deprecating wit, Keenan brings history and human experience vividly to life.
