He created the beloved comic strip FoxTrot in 1988, which quickly gained a massive following for its clever humor, pop culture references, and relatable depictions of a quirky suburban family. Over the decades, Amend has produced numerous collections, including the popular Camp FoxTrot (Volume 18), capturing the antics of the Fox family during summer adventures. Retiring the daily strip in 2006 to focus on family and creative pursuits, Amend continues to enchant readers with his timeless strips and books that blend science, technology, and everyday chaos into delightful narratives.
