About the Author

Jan Berenstain and her son Mike Berenstain are celebrated creators of the beloved Berenstain Bears series, a cornerstone of children's literature that has entertained and educated generations of young readers. Following Stan's passing, Mike joined as co-author and illustrator, continuing the legacy with fresh tales that address contemporary family issues while preserving the series' timeless charm. Their collaborative works, including the I Can Read-level books, emphasize values like kindness, responsibility, and family bonds, making complex concepts accessible and fun for early readers.
