About the Author

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was a pioneering French aviator, writer, and philosopher whose adventurous life profoundly influenced his literary creations. Born in 1900 in Lyon, France, he pursued a passion for flight that led him to become a commercial and military pilot, experiences that infused his works with themes of exploration, human connection, and the wonder of the world. Tragically lost at sea during a reconnaissance mission in 1944, Saint-Exupéry left behind a legacy of timeless storytelling that bridges the gap between childhood innocence and adult wisdom. His most cherished adaptation, 'The Little Prince for Young Children,' reimagines the classic tale for the youngest readers, capturing the essence of friendship, imagination, and life's simple truths through enchanting prose and illustrations.
