Alvin Lu

About the Author

Alvin Lu is a captivating storyteller whose debut novel, Daydreamers, has enchanted readers with its intricate exploration of the human psyche and the blurred lines between reality and imagination. Born in the bustling streets of San Francisco to immigrant parents, Lu drew inspiration from his multicultural upbringing to craft narratives that resonate with themes of identity, longing, and the quiet revolutions of everyday life. A former software engineer turned full-time writer, he infuses his work with a tech-savvy perspective on modern alienation, making his prose both accessible and profoundly introspective. When not writing, Lu can be found hiking the California trails or volunteering at local literacy programs, where he nurtures the next generation of dreamers. With Daydreamers marking the start of what promises to be a luminous career, Lu continues to weave stories that invite readers to question their own unspoken reveries.
