Alexander Litvinenko

About the Author

Alexander Litvinenko was a former Russian intelligence officer whose courageous exposé of state-sponsored terrorism made him a prominent voice in political nonfiction. After defecting to the United Kingdom, he authored the explosive account Blowing up Russia: The Book that Got Litvinenko Murdered, detailing alleged FSB involvement in domestic attacks. His writing combines meticulous investigative research with a clear, urgent narrative style that brings complex security issues to a wide audience. Litvinenko’s work remains a vital reference for understanding post-Soviet power structures and the personal costs of dissent.
