Aimee Phan is an acclaimed author and educator whose work explores the intricate lives of Vietnamese immigrants and their descendants navigating identity, displacement, and cultural inheritance in America. Born in Orange County, California, to Vietnamese refugee parents, Phan's writing draws deeply from her heritage, blending personal history with broader socio-political narratives. She holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and teaches creative writing at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
