About This Book
The Jedburghs examines the role of Allied special forces teams dropped into France in 1944 to support the resistance and prepare for the D-Day invasion.
Drawn from American, British, and French personnel, these small three-man units coordinated with local resistance fighters and gathered critical intelligence.
The book details their training, missions, and the challenges they faced operating deep behind German lines.
Based on declassified records and veteran accounts, it offers a focused look at this lesser-known chapter of the war in Europe.
